Bureau of Statistics: The annual output of integrated circuits increased by 16.2% year-on-year

According to the Bureau of Statistics, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 2.8% over the previous year. In terms of three categories, the added value of the mining industry increased by 0.5%, the manufacturing industry increased by 3.4%, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water increased by 2.0%. The added value of high-tech manufacturing industry and equipment manufacturing industry increased by 7.1% and 6.6% respectively over the previous year, and the growth rate was 4.3 and 3.8 percentage points faster than that of industries above designated size. In terms of product output, industrial robots, new energy vehicles, integrated circuits, and microcomputer equipment increased by 19.1%, 17.3%, 16.2%, and 12.7% year-on-year, respectively.

On the capital side, the semiconductor industry also has outstanding performance in 2020. According to data released by Yunxiu Capital, there will be 413 equity investment cases in the semiconductor industry in 2020, with an investment amount of more than 140 billion yuan, an increase of nearly 4 times year-on-year. Design enterprises are still the focus of investment, accounting for 67.2% of the total investment cases. The upstream of the industry has also received more attention from capital. In 2019, the proportion of investment in materials and equipment was 13%, which has increased to 19.2% in 2020. Throughout 2020, the average increase in the market value of semiconductor companies is about 40% to 50%.
