On the morning of June 18, 2021, Dong Jingwei, Deputy Minister of State Security, chaired a symposium to study and implement the “Counter-espionage Security Prevention Work Regulations” that will be implemented on April 26 this year, and make arrangements for the anti-espionage and anti-espionage work.

The symposium emphasized that to do a good job of anti-spyware and anti-espionage work, it is necessary to arrest not only spies, but also “traitors” and “behind-the-scenes financial masters.” At present, the activities of foreign spy intelligence agencies and various hostile forces infiltrating and stealing secrets against China have significantly intensified. In particular, some individuals are willing to be “insurgents”, secretly colluding with overseas espionage intelligence agencies and hostile forces to engage in anti-China activities. These “traitors” and “behind-the-scenes financial masters” seriously endanger the country’s political security and will eventually be nailed to the pillar of shame in history. National security organs must adhere to the overall national security concept, take the opportunity to implement regulations, carry out in-depth anti-rape and anti-espionage work, and unswervingly safeguard national security.
