Precision op amps from Diodes Incorporated feature ultra-low input offset voltage and low noise

[August 12, 2020 PLANO, Texas, USA]Diodes Corporation (NASDAQ: DIOD) today announced the launch of a precision operational amplifier. The AS2333 uses chopper stabilization to achieve an ultra-low input offset voltage of 8μV (typ) and near zero deviation (0.02μV/°C typ) over time and temperature. Chopper stabilization also addresses low frequency 1/f noise and compensation voltage crossover distortion. Common product applications for the AS2333 include transducers, medical devices, chemical detectors, and handheld test instruments.

The AS2333 has a typical 120dB common mode rejection ratio and a typical 130dB open loop gain, and is suitable for small signal sensors that measure parameters such as pressure, sound, light, temperature, voltage and current. Because many product applications have very low output signals, precision amplification with low skew and low noise is required.

The high-precision, dual-channel amplifier also has a high-impedance input with a common-mode range of 100mV beyond the supply and an output amplitude within 50mV of the rails. Battery powered product application features include a typical quiescent current of 12μA and power supplies as low as 1.8V (±0.9V).
