Tektronix and Coherent Solutions Announce Exclusive Collaboration to Provide Fully Integrated Optical Communications Platform

Beijing, China, March 20, 2020 – Tektronix and Coherent Solutions today announced an exclusive collaboration agreement to provide new and existing customers with a fully integrated optical communications platform to meet the ever-increasing demand for communications in the telecommunications, datacom, defense/aerospace and semiconductor global markets growing demand.

This platform can generate coherent modulated signals, such as 64QAM, to meet the needs of the high-speed communications market. Complex optical modulation is a key part of the development process for engineers looking for test and measurement solutions to support the launch of products at 400G/800G and transfer rates up to 1TB/s.

The integration of Tektronix oscilloscopes with Coherent Solutions DSPs paves the way for engineers to efficiently develop coherent transceivers, an efficient process that not only meets current standards but also goes beyond them for advanced research.
