Xiaomi is expanding its TV line-up in Europe with a larger 75-inch LCD TV. It features 4K resolution and zone dimming capabilities. It also comes with Android 10 pre-installed.
An expanded TV line-upIn addition to its mid-range 4A and 4S models, Xiaomi will offer a new 75-inch model in Europe. Xiaomi's Mi TV Q1 comes with more advanced LCD technology and 4K resolution. The company highlighted features such as FALD (192 dimming zones), or full array local dimming, for improved contrast, quantum dots for an improved color gamut, and wide support for HDR including HDR10, HLG, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
Xiaomi Mi TV Q1 In addition, the company highlighted HDMI 2.1 features like ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) but the TV does not appear to support 4K120 HFR video input. It is an Android TV (version 10 pre-installed) with access to apps such as Amazon, Netflix and Disney+. It also features A1 decoding, built-in Chromecast, and Google Assistant.
Xiaomi Mi TV Q1 Xiaomi entered the European TV market in late 2019 with a staggered roll-out of its products across Europe through its own online store as well as retail partners. Together with brands like OnePlus and Huawei, Xiaomi is part of the second wave of Chinese TV makers trying to expand internationally. Xiaomi's 75-inch Mi TV Q1 will be available starting from March in several European countries for around 1300 Euro.
